Outdoor Skating Rinks
Peaceful Valley Heinzen Pavilion Rink (figure skaters and non-hockey skaters): The Pavilion Ice Rink is closed for the season. The Warming House is closed, but is available for reservation by clicking here.

The City of Antigo Park and Rec crews will open and close the garage doors based on the snow forecast and conditions.  If the garage doors are closed, the walk-through access doors on the east and west ends of the building are open. Benches have been placed for sitting and putting on skates. For night skating, there are manual light switches to turn on and off the lights.

Peaceful Valley Hockey Rink: The hockey ice rink is closed for the season. The Warming House is closed, but can be reserved.
When open, the hockey rink's solar-powered lights will turn off at some point during the evening.

The ice trail connecting the rinks and the warming house will be developed when the conditions allow.

Peaceful Valley Warming House:
During the winter months, there are skates available with a reservation. The Peaceful Valley Warming House can be reserved online by clicking here or by calling the City of Antigo Park & Recreation Department at 715-623-3633 extension 154. On days without reservations and considered open, the Warming House is open from 7:00 am – 9:00 pm.  The doors lock at 9:00 pm, so please be sure to have all personal items out of the Warming House before 9:00 pm.

Peaceful Valley Ice Rinks and Warming House are located at 420 Field Street (near the community-built playground).

Please note: the City of Antigo does not staff on the weekends or holidays.  Any snow occurring in the evening hours or on the weekend will be removed the next business day.
