Northern Wisconsin Outdoor Adventures begin here in Langlade County. Langlade County offers many upnorth outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, ATVing, snowmobiling, hiking, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, kayaking, rafting, tubing, snowshoeing, swimming, cycling, mountain biking, golfing, camping, horseback riding, canoeing, and so much more! Langlade County has hundreds of miles of recreational trails, over a quarter of a million acres of territory open for public hunting, 766 lakes with 207 of these from springs, 225 streams creating 391 miles of trout streams, and the famous Wolf River.  If you are an outdoor enthusiast, we guarantee that you won't be bored here in Langlade County, the County of Trails. Kettlebowl Ski Hill
Downhill Report: February 8, 2025

Kettlebowl Ski Hill received enough snow to open for the season on Sunday, February 9, 2025. The hill is open from noon until 4:00 pm. Please don't arrive early, the volunteers don't open the chalet until just before noon as it takes time to get the kitchen ready.

Reminder: The hill is CASH ONLY with NO atm on site and no internet. Please plan accordingly!

Antigo Ski has both ski and snowboard equipment for rent inside for $25.

NOTE: The hill does not offer sledding or tubing at this time.

Kettlebowl Ski Hill is normally open on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4 pm when there is enough naturally made snow.  Antigo Ski will be available to rent skis/boots/snowboards when the hill is open.

Antigo Ski brings a large trailer out to the hill with the rental skis/boots/snowboards. (ANTIGO SKI, 715.623.4300 or 715.350.1002) The normal hours at the hill are 12-4 Sat & Sun when open. They may at times be open during teachers' conventions or holidays. Kettlebowl Ski Hill is located approximately 15 miles northeast of Antigo on Highway 52 or 4 miles southwest of the Highway 52/55 intersection at Lily. There are five rope tows, all runs are intermediate with a bunny/beginner hill. Snowboards are very popular and welcome. Terrain park features are in place on the hill.  New to the terrain park are an 8x8 ft wall and an 8x16 ft butter box. There are no sledding or tubing facilities. Modern chalet with food available. Snowmobilers are welcome, use caution when entering the parking lot & do not travel in front of the chalet, park to the left when entering the parking lot.

General Information: The hill is solely run by volunteers which keeps the cost of having outdoor fun affordable. The hill is open on weekends only, weather permitting. The hill relies on Mother Nature only.....Adults can get lift passes for $10, while all kids under 18 are $5.00.  This is a CASH-ONLY establishment with no ATM on site.

4.3 miles long, includes three loops, groomed for classic skiing.

From Antigo, travel North on Hwy 45 to Hwy I. East on Hwy I to Hwy 52 approximately eight miles.
