German beer, food and music will combine with some great early fall weather for Antigo’s ninth annual Oktoberfest celebration on Saturday.

The event, hosted by the Antigo/Langlade County Chamber of Commerce, is slated from 4 to 9 p.m. in the multi-purpose building at the Langlade County Fairgrounds.

Enjoy Oktoberfest beer tasting in the biergarten and be sure and take home a souvenir mug. There will be German food along with contests for best costume and beer stein hoist.

The Clete Bellin Orchestra will perform from 6 to 9 p.m.

The forecast is promising ideal fall conditions for the event, with sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-50s.
