Langlade County offers numerous opportunities to swim at public beaches or in indoor pools. With the abundant lakes, there are numerous lakes with public beaches within a 10-20 minute drive out of the City of Antigo. If indoor swimming is more your style, try the Clara R. McKenna Aquatic Center which offers two pools and a splash pad.

Vavruska Activity Pool offers warm water activities at 92 degrees. The pool is zero entry with water features in the shallower end. The deep end goes to a depth of 4 feet deep with a water slide. Activities include open swim, individual and group exercise, swimming lessons, aquatic therapy, school district lessons, and physical education classes.
Sheldon Splash Pad offers outdoor water fun during June, July & August. The pad is connected to the Activity Pool.
John and Mary Dwan Board Room is available to rent for birthday parties. Rental includes a three-hour block of time during Saturday and Sunday open swim times and admission for up to 30 swimmers. Visit their website for more information and rental prices.

Clara R. McKenna Aquatic Center is open to the public 7 days a week. The facility is adjacent to the Antigo High School. It is home to the Remington Competition Pool, the Vavruska Activity Pool, and the Sheldon Splash Pad.
Remington Competition Pool offers six 25 meters lanes at 80-degree water temperature. The water depth ranges between 4 feet to 12 feet with a diving board in the deep end. Activities include offered in this pool are lap swimming, individual and group exercise, open swim, high school swim team and local swim club practices, competitive swim meets, and school district use for lessons and physical education classes.

Jack Lake (Veteran's Memorial Park) is located 15 miles north of Antigo and 8 miles south of Elcho off of County Road J east of Highway 45 in Deerbrook. Jack Lake is a non-motorized lake that offers a sandy swimming beach for swimmers.
