This ungroomed winter fat bike and snowshoe trail is close to Antigo and is a great place to ride or snowshoe. The 3.6 miles of trail consists of loops of rolling hills and beautiful scenery. The trailhead is located at N1985 Dump Rd, Antigo, WI 54409.
The trail system is designed for hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and horseback riding. Motor vehicles are prohibited on these trails. The trail is on Langlade County property and is managed by the Langlade County Forestry and Recreation Department. The trailhead is located within Langlade County's Veterans Memorial Park.
The trail is located entirely on Langlade County property east of Antigo off 5th Avenue Road. It's approximately 5.5 miles in length and has a variety of trails for all abilities. It is managed by the Langlade County Forestry and Recreation Department and the Antigo Bike and Ski Club. The trail is groomed and tracked by the Antigo Bike and Ski Club.
The trail system is designed for mountain biking but is open to snowshoeing in winter. The trailhead is located within Langlade County's Veterans Memorial Park.
There is 1.2 mile snowshoe loop near Spychalla Lodge on the Jack Lake Cross Country Ski Trail.
The Moccasin Lake Trail System is designed for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in the winter. The snowshoe trail is located on the west side of the parking lot. Feel free to make your own trail but please stay off the cross-country ski trail. During the summer, the trail system is used for horseback riding and hiking.
