The Langlade County snowmobile clubs are a proud and dedicated group that would like to share their sport with you. As a snowmobiler, you will get a firsthand look at nature's winter wonderland. Snowmobiling is a fun, healthy recreation for people of all ages.
ATVs are allowed on the Langlade County Snowmobile Trail System 10 days after the trails are open in their respective zones and the temperature is under 28 degrees F. Note that ATVs operating on Langlade County snowmobile trails do need a Wisconsin public registration. ATVs are not allowed in the Nicolet National Forest. UTV's (side by side) are not allowed on the Langlade County Snowmobile Trail System during the winter.
Langlade County lodging offers the rest you need after a long day of hitting the trails. Whether you are looking for woodland cottages, modern motels, or chain hotels, you'll find them in Langlade County. If you’re heading out for a day trip, Langlade County makes it simple to park, ride, and explore. The well-marked snowmobile parking locations put you right at the heart of hundreds of miles of scenic, groomed trails. From convenient trailhead lots near Antigo to quiet rural access points, parking is designed to get you riding quickly and safely. Download the Langlade County Snowmobile Parking Lot Map, which highlights parking areas in relation to the trail system.
* Nonresident snowmobile trail pass ($50) – for a snowmobile registered in or in the process of being registered in another state, province or country. Available online, at select agents, or by calling WDNR at 1-888-WDNRINFo (1-888-936-7463).
* Wisconsin snowmobile trail pass ($30) – for a snowmobile registered in Wisconsin. Available online, at any DNR license sales agent or by calling WDNR at 1-888-WDNRINFo (1-888-936-7463). All Wisconsin snowmobile trail passes will be shipped by US Mail within 2 business days to the address specified.
* Wisconsin snowmobile trail pass for club members ($10) – for a snowmobile registered in Wisconsin and owned by a person who is both a member of a snowmobile club and a member of AWSC. Available only through AWSC via their website or by mail, phone, or in person from their office. Please visit www.awsc.org for more details.

Snowmobile Trails in Langlade County, Wisconsin, are developed and maintained by the Langlade County Forestry and Recreation Department, and 9 different snowmobile clubs in Langlade County. There are over 550 miles of state-approved and user-funded snowmobile trails. Langlade County has an excellent reputation for keeping the trails well groomed and marked.

- Summit Lake Parking Lot: West side of HWY 45 in Summit Lake
- HWY A Parking Lot: 14 miles northeast of Antigo on County Road A
- HWY T Parking Lot: 20 miles Northwest of Antigo on County Road T
- Sherry Road Parking Lot: 14 miles east of Antigo on Sherry Road
- Langlade County Fairgrounds North Parking Lot: Directly adjacent to the Langlade County Fairgrounds on the north side. Access via North Avenue.
- Jake Lake Ski Trails Parking Lot: 2 miles east of HWY 45 on County Road J
- Veterans Memorial Parking Lot: 3 miles east of HWY 45 on County Road J in Veterans Memorial Park
- Pence Lake Parking Lot: 1 mile west of County Road A on Pence Lake Road
- DNR Langlade Station: 0.1 miles west of the town of Langlade on HWY 64
NOTICE ON TRAIL PASSES
Effective July 1, 2015, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources expanded the snowmobile trail pass requirement to include snowmobiles registered in Wisconsin and increased the nonresident snowmobile trail pass fee. Beginning with the 2015-16 snow season, all snowmobiles operating on a Wisconsin snowmobile trail or corridor must display a valid snowmobile trail pass, whether registered in Wisconsin or another state. The snowmobile trail pass is:
- An annual pass is valid until June 30 each year.
- Separate from snowmobile registration.
- A 3” x 3” decal is required to be permanently affixed to the bottom center portion of the snowmobile windshield.
- Not required to operate on private property, on a snow route, or on frozen water if not on a marked corridor.
