Langlade County has one downhill skiing hill. Kettlebowl Ski Hill, Langlade County's hidden gem, relies on naturally made snow and volunteers to run the hill. The hill is excellent for beginner and intermediate skiers and snowboarders. It is fun for the whole family!

Gartzke Flowage Recreational Area is groomed for both classical and freestyle cross-country skiing. The trail is 6.5 miles long, and designed for all abilities. Parking area, restrooms, and a recreation shelter are available. Trails are maintained by the Antigo Bike & Ski Club.

Maintained by Silver Birch Ranch that is open to the public. Nine clearly marked trail loops encompass 6.7 miles of beautiful wooded scenery in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. The trail ranges from beginner to expert levels and is groomed for traditional skiing only.
The trailhead begins ½ mile East of Silver Birch Ranch. The parking area is at the trailhead on the right (south) side of Sawyer Lake Road.

Moccasin Lake Cross Country Ski & Snowshoe Trail Map
2.06 miles of cross-country ski trail right in the City of Antigo. Designed for beginners and groomed for both classic and freestyle. Trail access is available from Byrne Street, the dead-end of Virginia Street, or behind North Elementary School.
Please Note: the City of Antigo does not staff on the weekend. Any snow occurring in the evening hours or on the weekend will be taken care of during regular business hours.
