Kettlebowl Ski Hill will be open from noon to 4 pm on Saturdays and Sundays weather permitting. Go to Trail Report for conditions. To map the location: N6875 Hwy 52, Bryant, WI A ski shop from Antigo brings a large trailer out to the hill with the rental skiis/boots/snow boards. (ANTIGO SKI, 715.623.4300 or 715.350.1002) The normal hours at the hill are 12-4 Sat & Sun when we are open. We may at times be open during teachers conventions or holidays. Kettle Bowl ski hill is located approximately 15 miles NE of Antigo on Hwy 52 or 4 miles SW of the Hwy 52/55 intersection at Lily. We have five rope tows, all runs are intermediate with a bunny/beginners hill. Snow boards are very popular and welcome. There is no sledding or tubing facilities. We have a very modern chalet with food available. Snowmobilers are welcome, use caution when entering the parking lot & do not travel in front of the chalet, park to your left as you enter the parking lot. General Information: The hill is solely run by volunteers which keeps the cost having outdoor fun affordable. The hill is open on weekends only, weather permitted. They rely on mother nature only..... Gartzke Flowage Cross-Country Ski Trail General Information 6.5 miles long, designed for all abilities, and groomed for both classic and freestyle. Parking area, restrooms, and a recreation shelter. Location W6379 Fifth Ave Road Bryant, WI 54418 From Antigo, travel east on County F. Once past County S intersection continue East on fifth Avenue Road 2 more miles. Jack Lake Cross-Country Ski Trail Jack Lake Ski Trails are groomed on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays (as needed on Fridays) every week during the winter. The trail will not be groomed during Christmas Break from December 21st-25th...This is the schedule no matter the snow fall. General Information 15 miles long, designed for all abilities, and Piston-Bully groomed for both classic and freestyle. Parking area, restrooms and a warming shelter. Location From Antigo, travel north on Hwy 45 to Hwy J. Turn east on Hwy J and travel approximately 2 miles. Trailhead will be on your left. Kettlebowl Cross-Country Ski Trail Important Notice: The parking lot by Kent Fire Tower Road will not be plowed. Kettlebowl Ski Trail is groomed on Thursdays every week during the winter. General Information 4.3 miles long, includes three loops, groomed for classic skiing. Location From Antigo, travel North on Hwy 45 to Hwy I. East on Hwy I to Hwy 52 approximately eight miles. Maranatha Ski Trail System General Information Maintained by Silver Birch Ranch and is open to the public. Nine clearly marked trail loops encompass 6.7 miles of beautiful wooded scenery in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. The trail ranges from beginner to expert levels and is groomed for traditional skiing. Location The trailhead begins ½ mile East of Silver Birch Ranch located at N6120 Sawyer Lake Road (4 miles North of Langlade). From Langlade, follow Hwy 55 about 4 miles north to Sawyer Lake Road (FR 2122). Turn right and go about 2 miles. The parking area is at the trailhead on the right (south) side of Sawyer Lake Road. Moccasin Lake Cross-Country Ski Trail General Information 5.5 miles long, designed for all abilities, and groomed for both classic and freestyle. Parking area, restrooms, warming shelter with firewood and tables. Location N11190 Bear Lane, Elcho, WI 54428 From Antigo, travel North on Hwy 45 approximately 18 miles. Turn left onto Enterprise Lake Road. West on Moccasin Lake Road to Bear Road. South on Bear Road one mile to the trailhead. Springbrook Cross-Country Ski Trail General Information 2.06 miles of trail right in the City of Antigo, designed for beginners and groomed for both classic and freestyle Location Access is available from the Byrne Street, the dead-end of Virginia Street or behind North Elementary School. Please Note: the City of Antigo does not staff on the weekend. Any snow occurring in the evening hours or on the weekend will be taken care of during regular business hours. |
