Trail Map

Long 5 to 6 hour trips and shorter 2 to 3 hour trips are available. Shooting the rapids is a thrill you will want to do annually with friends. Life jackets are required and provided with rafts and paddles. Your auto remains at the Inn where the trips end. We provide free transportation to the start of the trips. Local law is enforced, prohibiting glass bottles and beverage cans in rafts and littering the river.

Moose Knee Rafting is a locally owned and operated central Wisconsin pop-up rafting outfitter and Mini Cat retailer specializing in flatwater to class 3 interactive guided rafting. River Forest Campground and Retreats is Moose Knee Rafting's premier partnered booking outpost for whitewater on the Wolf and Red River, and is the only spot to book its unique one-of-a-kind inflatable canoe called the "GreenBean", capable of low water/narrow passage action you'll be amazed to experience.

The Mini Cat will debut in the summer of 2023 for rent for groups of up to six. Rentals include your paddle and PFD. MiniCats are like river tubes but give you full control of your river travel up to class 2 rapids. The Mini Cat is also available to purchase for $499.

The fun begins at Northern Lights Bar & Grill (formerly J's Landing)! Ride the whitewater rapids of the Wolf River in one of their bright green tubes starting at $20.00. Located on the corner of Hwy 55 & 64. Get gas, stock your cooler, or stop in for a meal. They will be happy to share some area information about all of the area's hidden fun spots. They are there to show you a great time and a little of the Wolf River Life.

Shotgun Eddy Raft Rental is the ultimate whitewater rafting in northern Wisconsin. Located on the Wolf River, rafting trips are available for those that love either the wild or the mild rafting experience. The rafting season opens on May 1st and closes on the second Saturday of September. Trips can be reserved for full or half days and 2-3 hour floats. Wolf River Tubing Co. is the newest Langlade County whitewater tubing company. Our trips run the short section 2 of the Wolf River. The tubing trips have a little bit of lazy river with a few nice rapids in between. Great relaxing and fun all in one! Trips will begin at The Goose (formerly Wolf Pass Bar & Grill) and end there.
