Langlade County offers numerous opportunities to swim at public beaches or in indoor pools. With the abundant lakes, there are numerous lakes with public beaches within a 10-20 minute drive out of the City of Antigo. If indoor swimming is more your style, try the Clara R. McKenna Aquatic Center which offers two pools and a splash pad.
Jack Lake Recreation Area features Jack Lake, a non-motorized lake with a sandy swimming beach for swimmers. Jack Lake is located within Veteran's Memorial Park/Jack Lake Recreation Area-North Trailhead which is 15 miles north of Antigo and 8 miles south of Elcho off of County Road J east of Highway 45 in Deerbrook, WI.

The new James & Mary Draeger Family Splash Pad officially opened on Friday, September 15, 2023. The splash pad is located in Antigo's City Park East.
Mueller Lake offers a sandy beach area and swimming area. Changing rooms and toilets are available.
Phlox Lake offers a sandy swimming beach in the town of Norwood. Also known as Phlox Pond by the locals. Other amenities available are picnic tables, shoreline fishing, toilets, and a walking/hiking trail.
Summit Lake County Park is located just off Hwy 45. The sandy beach and large grassy area offer excellent opportunities to relax by the water. The facility has a designated swimming area, picnic areas, open-air pavilion, playground, changing rooms, ADA accessible pathways, vaulted restrooms, boat ramp, and parking with ATV/UTV Trail access.
During the winter, the parking lot is maintained for ice fish and snowmobile trail access.
White Lake beach is located on County Road M when coming into White Lake. Amenities include picnic tables, toilets, Joe Edelman Pavilion, pier fishing, and boat landing.
