Will Tuesday Night Mark a Return to the Roaring '20s? Swartzendruber's Thinks So

December 30, 2019

The champagne is chilling and surf and turf is waiting as the northwoods prepares to welcome 2020.

It may-or may not-mark the end or beginning of a new decade. It depends on who is doing the calculating. But there is no doubt the eventful “teens” of the 21st century are ending.

And there will be plenty of celebrations.

Get ready for the Roaring '20s New Year's Eve celebration at Swartzendruber's Supper Club. It includes a four course dinner starting at 7:30 p.m. featuring choice of shrimp trio or prime and lobster along with soup, salad, potato and dessert, entertainment by Sandy and Son starting at 9 p.m. and a Roaring '20s costume contest. There will be party favors and door prizes along with champagne at midnight.  Tickets are $50 per person or $100 per couple and are going fast.

The crew at Swartzendruber's Supper Club is ready to ring in the New Year with a clever century-past theme, taking revelers back to the Roaring 20s. The night will include a costume contest, and here Lucinda Gilbert, LeRoy Gilbert Sr., Lyndon Swartzendruber, Joey Lasasso, and Linnea Swartzendruber show off that swingin' period garb.
