Kettlebowl’s Fun Day will be held this Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015. Starting at 10AM there will be a Waffles and Sausage breakfast served with donated maple syrup, fruits and applesauce. Nick Salm and company are making the waffles. During the day various raffles will be held with many donated prizes from Kettlebowl skiers, volunteers and Antigo area businesses.
For the skiers and snowboarders, there will be special drawings. Each time a skier or snowboarder high school age and younger bought a ski lift ticket in the past two weekends, they received a ticket to place in the drawings for ski and snowboard equipment, etc by age group. Drawing will be held for ages 5 and under, 6-12 years and 13 years thru high school. All high school and younger skiers and snowboarders purchasing a lift ticket will receive a prize ticket on Fun Day Saturday. Included in the drawings are a pair of skis, some helmets, boots, goggles, Granite Peak tickets and several other donated items. The tows will start at 12 and run to 4PM. Ski conditions are very good. Everyone is encouraged to come out even if they do not ski. Bring a family member, friend or neighbor to join in on this wonderful community event and watch the skiers and snowboarders. It’s a fun time for skiers and non skiers.
Kettlebowl is run by all volunteers. Come and say thank you to these volunteers. Also consider signing up to volunteer this year or to get on the list for next season. Volunteers are encouraged to be there by 9AM to assist with setup. Kettlebowl will continue to be open on Saturdays and Sundays for the next couple of weekends depending on snow conditions.
