Ice Bowl Raises $1,512 For Local Food Pantry

The Antigo Disc Golf Club’s first-ever Ice Bowl on Saturday raised $1,512 and 176.32 pounds of food for the Antigo Area Community Food Pantry.

According to organizer Zachary Brown, eight teams participated in the tournament, which featured the warning that “no wimps were allowed,” with play at both the city of Antigo and Jack Lake disc golf courses.

First place team after a tie-breaking play off was Eric Fredrickson and Tony Rygula. Second place after the onehole playoff was Mike Barske and Conner Smith.

Logan Wilhelm collected the most funds, with $170 in pledges, with Dustin Radke second with $160 The most food donated award went to
Jordan Breitenfeldt.

Brown gave a special shout-out to Angela Brown.

“Without her and her amazing bake sale none of this would of been possible,” he said. “Also thank you to the City of Antigo Parks and Recreation Department and Tom Lazers of Jack Lake for their help and commitment to our cause and event.”
