HABITAT FOR HUMANITY ANNOUNCES SPRING TOOL DRIVE

ANTIGO , WISCONSIN
With spring fast approaching, now’s a great time to clean out your basements, garages or tool sheds and donate to Habitat for Humanity of Langlade County’s first annual tool drive! HFH of Langlade County is in need of tools that are new or used but in good condition to help in their work to build or repair homes for low-income Wisconsin families or raise funds for construction materials.

The Habitat for Humanity Spring Tool Drive will be held from Tuesday, March 18th through Saturday, March 22nd . Tools may be dropped off at CoVantage Credit Union 723 sixth Ave , Antigo . For large donations, questions, or how your church, school groups, businesses or other organizations can collect tools for donation please contact 715 – 627-7307 for more details. Tools will be used in the construction or repairs of homes of low-income families in Langlade County, or they will be sold to help raise funds for Habitat.

This is a great opportunity for the community to get involved in the Habitat mission, simply by donating tools no longer being used, or ones purchased new. “We’ll put them to good use,” said Paul Grinde President of Habitat for Humanity of Langlade County “And, of course, we welcome cash donations as well to put toward the purchase of additional tools.” Cash Donations may be sent to Spring Tool Drive, HFH of Langlade County, PO Box 604, Antigo , Wi 54409

Tool donations may also be a noncash tax deduction. Check with your tax preparer for more information.
