There are all sorts of reasons for residents of Antigo and Langlade County to visit the airport Saturday.
Walker Aviation is inviting all to pay a visit to the Antigo Fly In, which opens at 10 a.m. at the facility at Highways 52 and 45 just northeast of the city.
There will be a number of aircrafts on display including the MEDEVAC helicopter, which serves residents of central Wisconsin through Aspirus Hospital in Wausau.
The Langlade County Airport, which has been attracting more attention, will also be offering $25 airplane rides, drone demonstrations featuring The Sandstorm, and an aviation-themed chalk-drawing competition on the tarmac.
Food in the hangar will be offered by the Crocker Kids 4-H Club and there will be a bounce house, flight simulator and more on the grounds.
The pace will pick up in the afternoon with Whiskey Nights performing its very popular brand of music from 2 to 6 p.m.
