A community celebration of creativity comes to downtown Antigo Saturday.
Art on the Ave is a new event for Antigo that features a chalk fest, window art competition, along with an entire day of family activities.
According to Madison Taylor, organizer of Art on the Ave and owner of Creative Phoenix Art, this year’s theme is community.
“Art on the Ave invites everyone to come together to enjoy live entertainment, sidewalk games for kids and the incredible experience of watching local artists bring their creativity to the streets and storefronts of Antigo,” she said.
The Langlade County 4-H will also be hosting a pulled pork fundraiser that day.
“It’s the perfect day to walk downtown, grab a bite, and enjoy all that Antigo’s creative community has to offer,” Taylor said.
Taylor said for artist sign-up, sponsorship opportunities or volunteer information, visit Art on the Ave’s Facebook page.
“We’re excited to launch this brand event for Antigo,” Taylor said. “Art on the Ave is more than an art festival — it’s a chance to come together, support each other and make memories through creativity.”
Taylor said that whether you’re an artist, supporter or someone who loves a good day on the town, to check out Art on the Ave.
“Let’s come together to make this inaugural event a joyful and inspiring celebration of who we are as a community,” she said.
