Enjoy one-of-a-kind ATV/UTV experience in our County of Trails

With an ever-growing system of trails and spectacular scenery, it’s no wonder that Langlade County has become a top destination for ATV/UTVing. With trails that run through lush forests and pass by quaint lakes, people keep coming back to find more hidden gems that Langlade County has to offer.

Ride through the spectacular Crocker Hills into White Lake, with a stop for lunch at a nearby eatery. Looking for a spot to view the wild Wolf River? Try the Augustyn Spring Trails. These trails offer scenic views and have the perfect view of the Wolf River from the Highway A Wayside.

Want something more rugged? Check out Parrish Highlands. These trails extend across the northwestern corner of the county and beyond and even feature a beautiful shelter alongside a remote lake.

Rides on the trails can range from a few hours to all-day outings. Spend the day or stay for the night in surrounding towns such as Elcho, Pickerel, Pearson, or White Lake, all offering amenities that make your ride more memorable.

It’s all waiting for you in the County of Trails.
 A jewel of the ATV system is Augustyn Springs, with the trailhead located on Highway A, eight miles northeast of Neva. There is parking, restrooms, ramp, and a wash system available. The 21-mile trail is located entirely within the Langlade County Forest with rolling to very hilly terrain.

You can enjoy Augustyn Springs straight from the door of Norm's Hollow Campground, Bar & Grill, W6902 County Road A, Deerbrook, 715-484-4413. It offers the best of all worlds, with a community-friendly bar and restaurant. The adjoining campground has showers, bathroom, and dump station also electric and water hookups on each site. Augustyn Springs can also serve as the gateway to the Pickerel/Pearson trails managed by the Wolf River Riders ATV Club. The trail is located between Post Lake and Pickerel, with plenty of opportunities for fueling up and enjoying a cold drink or sandwich. The route runs on either side of Rolling Stone Lake and along the east side of Pickerel Lake through County Forest land and over to Upper and Lower Post Lake.

Northern Hideaway Campground, N10692 E Shore Road, Pearson, 715-484-3373, is located right on the trail, with 28 pull through sites with water and electric, flush toilets and showers. There Is also a dump station and laundry facilities.
 The White Lake ATV Club manages 20 miles of rolling and hilly trails extending into the village of White Lake, with local businesses offering lunch, snacks, and supplies. Access is at Sherry Road, 1.25 miles north of Highway 64, Polar; and Highway M/Maple Street, downtown White Lake.
On the other side of Highway 55, the eastern segment of the White Lake trail connects with Oconto County ATV trails just south of Hollister.

In eastern Langlade County, make 9 Mile All Sport Resort, N5751 Hwy 55, White Lake, 715-484-8908 your headquarters.  It offers over 50 sites with full hookups as well as showers and laundry facilities. After a day on the trails and enjoy snacks and refreshments at the adjoining 9 Mile Tavern. There is also a convenience store onsite for a quick snack break.
 An impressive series of trails is located in northwestern Langlade County, managed by the Parrish Highlanders ATV Club. This trail system has 50 miles of scenic terrain that traverses glacial moraines, upland hardwoods, cedar swamps, and small rivers and lakes and links up with the Lincoln and Oneida County ATV trail system; It is also home to an attractive shelter and picnic area nestled beside a small lake.
Parking and access points are located on Highway Q at the Oneida/Langlade County Line; Highway H, two miles south of Highway 17 and Q; and Highway T, three miles west of Highway 45, Summit Lake. The Highway T location has an ATV washing station, restrooms, and ramp.

While visiting the Parrish Highlands, make Great Northern Campground, N6146 County Road H, Gleason, 715-623-2267, your trail-riding headquarters. It is located eight miles from the Parrish Highlands trails with connections to Lincoln and Oneida County trail systems.

Great Northern Campground has 53 sites, most with water and electric hook-ups It offers a large swimming pond with sand beach, showers, flush toilets, sand volleyball, and a large playground area. There are daily and seasonal rates and dogs are welcome.
 At Elcho, the Pel-Cho Mud Nutz ATV Club is developing trails that connect that community with Oneida County’s Pelican Lake and the extensive trail system in the Enterprise Forest, expanding riding opportunities even more.

In addition, most of Langlade County's county roads have been designated as ATV/UTV routes with the exception of State Highway 45, 45, 52, 55, and 64. Consult the most recent trail map or Langlade County Forestry and Recreation Department for the latest updates.

City of Antigo residents can access the northern Langlade County ATV/UTV trails by use of the designated ATV/UTV routes. The trailhead is at the curve of Century Avenue and North Saratoga Street.
