HookUp Disc Golf founder Evan Stoiber presented a $6,300 check to Antigo Parks and Recreation Department supervisor Kiel Korzinek at the Springbrook Disc Golf Course early Monday morning.

The funds were generated through two disc golf tournaments, the Tee Pad Bash 2020 and the recent Winter Wizards 2021.

Stoiber and Korzinek were walking the course and discussing the upcoming project of installing concrete tee pads, the genesis of the fundraising tournaments. The project looks to get underway in early summer.

“Presenting this check wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of the community, disc golf family, and local businesses,” Stoiber said. “Our fundraising tournaments were a huge success. We look forward to hosting future tournaments and helping out other local organizations within the community.”

Sponsors of the Tee Pad Bash 2020 tournament included the Barske and Vollmer families, HookUp Disc Golf LLC, Legit Clean LLC and Lupus Warriors (Jolene Estreen), NICU Little Miracles, Mike and Jenna Barske, Brenden Vollmer, All Saints Catholic School, and M&J Equipment Sales LLC (Mike Estreen).

Sponsors of the Winter Wizards 2021 tournament included Dave Stoiber and Marsha Mueller, George and Jade Brown, Zach and Jenn Walrath, in loving memory of Dick Estreen (Kevin and Cheryl Belot and Mike Estreen), Three Amigos (Seth Senter, Jason Suddeth, and Bryan Mirr), and the Antigo Disc Golf Course.
