Langlade County Cemetery Tour "Presenting the Past" Date: Sept. 17, 2022 - Sept. 18, 2022 Time: 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
The Langlade County Historical Society and the Antigo Community Theatre have teamed up to offer a living history event with a Langlade County Cemetery Tour: “Presenting the Past”.
The hour-long presentation is in the form of a walking tour through the Antigo and the Queen of Peace Cemeteries, with small audience groups led from station to station by a guide. There will be six historic stops featuring prominent people that were instrumental in the development and prosperity of the city of Antigo and Langlade County. Each of the stations will have performers that will tell their story of their historic impact on our community. There will also be surprise historic characters that will pop up along the path with their tale to tell.
The tours will take place between 1:00pm and 3:00pm at the Antigo and Queen of Peace Cemeteries. The entrance will be located at Aspirus St. Joseph's Building parking lot: H. The guided tours will leave every 15 minutes. In case of rain, the tour will take place at the Langlade County Historical Society.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students (12 & under are free). Advance Tickets are sold at the Langlade County Historical Society Museum (404 Superior St.). Tickets are also available at and on the day of the event.
