The 26th Annual Post Lake Ice Fishing Jamboree will be on February 15, 2025. This is an all-day event. Fishing on Upper & Lower Post Lake begins at dawn. No pre-registration is required. Register fish by 4:00 pm at the PLIA Building on the corner of County Rd K & Post Lake Drive. Prizes for the largest fish in selected categories. Fish category winners will receive cash for adults and prizes for children under 12. All children will receive an attendance prize. Awards and drawings will begin at 4:30 pm.
ON THE ICE:
Bag raffles & fishing contest with cash prizes awarded for the longest fish of each fish species for the adult group and prizes for the longest fish in each fish species for the kids' group.
AT THE PLIA BUILDING:
Annual winter raffle, basket raffles, 50/50 cash raffle, as well as great food & beverages! All children will receive an attendance prize. Fish registration ends at 4 pm Saturday with raffle drawing & awards at 4:30 pm.
NOTE:
A valid fishing license is required, and fish must meet the DNR regulation length requirements:
Northern—Length must be greater than 26”
Walleye—Length must be greater than 15’ and less than 20” or greater than 24”
Bass—Length must be greater than 14“
Crappie—No length restriction
Perch—No length restriction
Bluegill—No length restriction
Any fish not meeting the length requirements must be returned to the lake.
