Art on the Ave 2026 is a free, family-friendly community art festival happening in Downtown Antigo on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Hosted by Creative Phoenix Art, this annual event transforms downtown into a vibrant outdoor gallery filled with creativity, live art, music, local businesses, and community connection.
This year’s theme, “Growth,” invites artists and participants to explore ideas of renewal, transformation, resilience, and community through art. Visitors can experience professional chalk art installations, large-scale window painting, local artists and makers, nonprofit organizations, interactive activities, and the Badgerland Car Show happening alongside the event.
Art on the Ave welcomes artists, vendors, businesses, nonprofits, families, and visitors of all ages to come together and celebrate the power of creativity in the community. Downtown businesses throughout the area will host artwork and activities, creating an immersive and walkable experience for attendees.
Applications are currently open for chalk artists, window painters, vendors, businesses, and nonprofits interested in participating in this growing community event.
