2026 Post Lake Ice Fishing Jamboree

Mark your calendars for the 28th Annual Post Lake Ice Fishing Jamboree Saturday, February 21, 2026!

Events will be happening on both Upper & Lower Post Lake, & at the PLIA Building at the corner of County K & Post Lake Drive.

RAFFLE TICKETS:
Leading up to the event, raffle tickets will be sold at the local establishments, so please watch for that!

ON THE ICE:
Bag Raffles & Ice Fishing Contest with cash prizes awarded for longest fish of each fish species for the adult group & prizes for longest fish in each fish species for the kids' group. All children will receive an attendance prize.

AT THE PLIA BUILDING:
• Winter Raffle, Basket Raffles, 50/50 Cash Raffle
• Chili, Hot Beef Sandwiches, & beverages will be served
• Fish registration ends at 4pm Saturday; raffle drawing & awards at 4:30.


VOLUNTEERS:
This is PLIA's largest fundraising event of the year & requires the greatest amount of volunteers. They are looking for MUCH NEEDED volunteers again this year. If you are interested, please email PLIAupnorth@gmail.com or reach out to anyone on the PLIA Board directly (their contact information is in your PLIA Newsletter or online here https://bit.ly/PLIAnewsletter).

Please let them know if you can help with any of the following:

Set up: Friday, February 20, 10am
Event day: Saturday, February 21 - ticket sales begin at 7am
2 hour shifts (minimum) for the following-
• Food servers in the kitchen area
• Beverage servers
• Ticket sales
• Individuals to measure & track fish
• Floaters
• Kitchen clean up

Clean up: Sunday, February 22, 9am

Additionally, they are looking for RAFFLE BASKETS! If you or your business is willing to donate a themed raffle basket for the silent auction, please reach out to: PLIAupnorth@gmail.com. Baskets may be dropped off that Friday or early Saturday morning.
