Jack Lake Crazy Eights Mountain Bike Race

Saturday, June 15th 2024 is our annual Jack Lake Crazy Eights Mountain Bike Race. It is part of the Wisconsin Endurance Mountain Bike Series ( Get your friends together for a team, or go for it solo. Under 18 Juniors race FREE!

Make this race a weekend long trip! The Jack Lake mountain bike trails are located inside fantastic Jack Lake Campground at Veterans Memorial Park in Langlade County.

We have a group campsite reserved or you can reserve your own spot online now.

There is swimming in beautiful Jack Lake just a short walk from the race area and group campsite, a disc golf course and a very nice shower facility. There is also the 1/3 mile Jack Rabbit loop to keep the kids busy.

Race course is about 12 miles long and 96% singletrack on fast flowing trails. The trails are not super technical, but definitely aerobic!

Start times are as follows:
Long Race (10 Hour):
  • 8am start – final lap must be finished by 6pm.
  • Categories: solo, duo, open team
Mid Race (6 Hour):
  • 11am start– final lap must be finished by 5 pm
  • Categories: solo, duo
Short Race (3 Hour):
  • 1pm start– final lap must be finished by 4 pm
  • Categories: solo, duo, junior
Awards will start at 6:15 unless all racers finish early.

The 10k-ish trail run starting at 9:00am.

There will be food site sale onsite. Sale will benefit the Antigo School Forest.

Day of registration will be open at 7am for all events. There will also be online registration.

Directions: Take Hwy 45 north of Antigo approx 15 miles to Hwy J. Go East on J about 3 miles to the park. See less
